Life happens everyday; work, meals, bills, and kids. Everyday can become just another day. Days can blend together and you can forget what day it is. We start to move through life-like on repeat or auto-pilot. We get so busy that we can forget to enjoy it. This blog is a place for people to connect with others, find support, to grow and learn to find ways to add that tidbit of happiness into their lives.
This site was created by two very good friends, Sarah and Shanda. We want to help others add the tidbit of happiness and joy into their lives. Thank you for checking out our blog. We hope it brings some tidbit of happiness into your life.
Hi, my name is Sarah
I am a christian, a wife, a mother, and a blogger. My husband and I have been married for thirteen years. We have four beautiful children. M (our only son) is 8, B is 4, A is 2, and E is 8 months. They keep us very busy!
My husband and I bought a ranch style house this last summer, that is on five acres. With the land we have started our own little farm. On our little farm we have two dogs, Chewbacca and Rev, a cat named Darth Vader (yes, we love Star Wars), one rooster (my son has named Frankenstien because the red thing on his head is partly missing), twenty-three chickens (my son has named them all), and two goats (male is named Cookie and our female is named Oreo).
I have been a stay-at-home mom for three years now. I’m still learning how to balance everything; my kids, my blog, being a wife, and finding time for myself. I will share what my struggles are and what I learn. My life (like everyones) is constantly changing as my family grows and changes. So, I will continue to share as time goes on. I hope you are able to learn and grow with me.
My name is Shanda
I am very excited to share with all of you, all the things that make me happy and lead me toward a healthier lifestyle as a Christ follower, wife, mother, daughter, friend, business owner, and triathlete. I have been married to my husband, T, for 8 years and I recently became a stay-at-home mom after many, many years in education. I home school our 4 year old daughter, A, and volunteer at various nonprofits within our community. I am passionate about bringing Christ’s love to others and encouraging people in their current journeys. I love participating in triathlons and I am looking forward to doing the CDA Olympic Triathlon in CDA, Idaho this coming summer. Hoping to beat my previous time! 😉 I also love planners & organization, getting lost in a good book, and spending time renovating both the inside and outside of our 1940s farmhouse. Let’s go on an adventure together to find and embrace the tidbits of happy that come our way each and every day!
