Christmas is one of my favorite holidays! The lights, the decorations, the food, etc. I’m not sure there is any part of Christmas I don’t like. But some times the true meaning of Christmas can get lost amongst all the chaos that comes with the holidays. We can get so caught up in getting Christmas decorations up, Christmas cards mailed, and Christmas parties planned. We forget that Christmas is about hope, love, and family.
Right around Thanksgiving, I discovered that Candace Cameron Bure had a new book out. The book is called “Bring on the Merry, 25 Days of Great Joy for Christmas. Each day has a new message from Candace, a story or poem, and questions/activity for the reader to answer. I am about halfway through the book and I am loving it! I look forward to the time I can sit down and read. Sometimes when I’m feeling overwhelmed and stressed, I’ll take a few minutes, find a quiet place to sit down and read over that days message and the story or poem. It is a nice way to relax and refocus.
This book is designed so that you can do one day for 25 days or you can go at a faster or slower pace. So, if this book sounds like something you would enjoy, then go get your own copy. I have provided a link here, but you can also find it on Amazon, Walmart, and Barnes and Noble. I hope you enjoy yours as much as I am enjoying mine.
