My husband and I are eating the Keto diet. We aren’t being as strict as we should be with it. We’re not forcing our kids to do it with us either (only some meals). We’ve tried a few new recipes but what I love most about this is it clearly states what to eat and what not to eat (other diets I have tried didn’t do this).
One of the first things I did when my husband suggested we try this diet was look for an app on my phone. I found an app that explains the benefits, types of Keto diets available, what side effects could be seen with the Keto diet, and what to eat. With this app you can find app you can find recipes and create meal plans.
For those of you who don’t know the Keto diet is where you eat mostly fats, some proteins and very little carbs. An example of this that they give in the app is “chicken breast basted in olive oil, with broccoli and cheese”. I’ve enjoyed the meals we have made and with a few minor changes, I can still eat my favorite food, Burgers! I just need to lose the bun and the fries (sad). In the future, I will share some of my favorite Keto recipes. Keep an eye out for them.
