Hi Happy Adventurers!
Since Easter about a week away, I wanted to talk Easter baskets! I love Easter! It’s my absolute favorite holiday! The resurrection of Christ is the cornerstone of my faith and I love celebrating the miracle of Jesus’ victory over the grave each year and every day between.
As a family, we have chosen to not include the Easter bunny was part of our Easter celebration. But we do include Easter baskets and I get a little thrill out of putting together fun baskets for my daughter. This year I went with an outdoor theme with her basket. I decided to only to one candy item ( a chocolate bunny, a family tradition!) because she will be attending 3 egg hunts, so I know she’ll get way more candy than she needs.
Here is a peek at this year’s basket:
*Bible Sticker Book
* chocolate bunny
*watering can
*Bug catching kit
*pink! Bubbles
*giant bubble wand
*sidewalk chalk shaped little eggs & chicks
She is going to love it! So much outdoor exploring in our near future! And it was fairly inexpensive to put together as I got many of the items at the Dollar Tree and 50% at Fred Meyer! Being a SAHM with only one income coming in, we have to make sure we always stay within budget when it comes to gift giving.
I would love to see the Easter baskets you have put together for your kiddos! And I’d love to hear about your favorite Easter traditions!
Happy adventures until next time!
Shanda 😄
