Dollar Store Homeschooling Haul

Hi guys!

I feel so fortunate and beyond blessed to be able to stay at home with my daughter and homeschool. She is only three but getting a head start in preschool has been so fun and such a cherished time during this season of life. I love our homeschool days together and try to plan lots of fun hands on learning activities throughout the day. As the year has progressed I’ve become more flexible with our days and have really started to let her take the lead on which activities she wants to do and those we pass on ( she is very strong willed and it saves my sanity to be flexible in this area. 😜)

We recently took a visit to the Dollar Store and I’m so excited to share all the cool things we came home with. Mind you, I planned on only buying a couple things but everything looked sooo fun and we found sooo many awesome things. Homeschooling can be quite expensive and utilizing the Dollar Store and Target’s Dollar Spot has been a game changer for our homeschooling! Here is our haul:

1. Two poster boards

2. A super cute clipboard

3. Cookie cutters ( great for play doh!)

4. Whiteboard with shapes to trace on one side & the alphabet on the other

5. Dot labels ( endless fun with these little gems!)

6. Plastic kitchen utensils ( great for painting & shaving cream!)

7. Plastic bowl & drainer ( sensory tub goodies)

8. Fairy dress up and a chef dress sets

9. Pom poms

10. Colored pipe cleaners

11. Colorform Paw Patrol Fun Pack ( I didn’t even know they still made these!)

12. Miracles of Jesus Big Book of Stickers ( my favorite of our haul!)

13. Sesame Street Paint with Water Book

14. Foam Letter Stickers

So many great items! We’ve already started enjoying some of these today! I’ll be doing a post soon with some fun ideas for utilizing all these items and more!

Happy adventures until next time!

Shanda 😄
