Daily Devotional Time

Good morning!

This post is happening a bit early today because I meant to post it last night but got so wrapped up in This Is Us, that I completely forgot. That show though!!! πŸ˜“ Never fails to bring me to tears & make me laugh out loud! I love it!

Anyway, back to today’s post. As I do every morning, I woke early this morning, started a pot of coffee, and opened my bible & heart up to spend some time with Jesus. Daily time with Him is the most important, most cherished time of my day and I like to do it first thing in the morning. It took me years to establish a routine that works for myself & my family. If you don’t already have a routine that includes daily time with Jesus, I highly suggest that you give it a try. πŸ™‚ Getting into God’s word and being in His presence daily has the power to change your life! And it doesn’t have to happen in the morning… it can be any time of the day, for how ever long ( or short ) works for your schedule and/or season of life.

Not sure where to start when it comes to bible reading or studying? Pray for Jesus to show you where he would like you to begin, and just start reading. He will guide you and move you to areas of the Bible that may address your season of life and struggles or praises you may be experiencing. I have included my two favorite ways to study the Bible below. Give them a try and let me know your thoughts!

Until next time… Happy adventures!
